		<description>Thanks Mike, I hope it was useful! I absolutely agree that long-term value is difficult to measure - in this case, I doubt very much that anyone could unearth a single tweet that we could confidently say triggered the decision to buy a house.

The irony of Twitter is that it operates in the most immediate and trackable medium on Earth, yet I believe one of its most useful capabilities for big-ticket item manufacturers is for branding, awareness, and maintaining top-of-mind status - just like the good ol&#039; days of print, radio and TV. Funny, huh?</description>

Great article and these are definitely the best ways to get immediate ROI. the hardest part is to measure long term influence and community building. I guess the retweet/replies over time will tell builders if people are listening/interacting. Thanks for the great info!</description>
